tailgating, recipes, football, football food

Time for football ...which in this house means time for food.

If your looking for some fun new ideas for Superbowl Sunday check these out.

Each one is simple and affordable.

It doesn't get easier than my OU/OSU Game Day Pizza Dip.

My Oklahoma Fried Pickles are delicious.

Enchilada Dip is the best on game day.

Chipotle Nachos w/ a Twist

Nothing will delight your taste buds and your guests quite like my Chipotle Nachos w/ a Twist.

Now this year we are cheering on the Seahawks. My hubby said he was a bit torn but for me I just enjoy the company the half-time show and the commercials.

How about you? Which team are you cheering on?

May the best team win,

Hugs from Oklahoma,

  9. My husband is the football fan in my family (from watching, to participating in the fantasy football leagues). While I don't share his love of the sport (at all, lol), I do love food.

I've never had a fried pickle before, but the recipe you shared sounds so tasty, I may just try my hand at making them.

Your Chipotle Nachos w/ a Twist is definitely getting bookmarked. I can see myself making that time and time again.

  10. I think it's brilliant that things like the superbowl bring everyone together and give you a good excuse to eat great food! We don't really have that over here in the UK, and I'm not much of a football (soccer) fan myself but i love how much of an 'event' it becomes in the States. It's brill!

  14. Fried pickles are always a favorite for our tailgate parties. We like to do fried green tomatoes too! We also make 7 layer dip and order pizza. By making dips and appetizers, we can save some money!
