I Heart Snowmen

<span style="font-size: large;">Since much of the country is due to be buried under snow, I thought what better time to show you my adorable snowman collection.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">My mother loved snowmen and passed that love onto me. Some of my snowmen happened to be in my car during the fire so I was fortunate and snowmen were some of  the first things  I started to buy again after the fire.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">I wanted our rental to quickly feel like home. Shopping at Goodwill one day I happened to come across a pile of adorable snowmen for only $2.99 each. Each snowman had their own set of ski's so I knew it had been someone's collection that was donated.</span><br />

Smores In the Oven

<span style="font-size: large;">Take a large piece of foil and Pop two Graham Crackers in half.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Now open 1 Hershey's Chocolate Bar and break it into four pieces and stick them on the Graham Crackers.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">All you need now is 4 Jumbo Marshmallows to stick on the chocolate bars and your ready to pop these in the oven.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Put them on the top rack and let them bake for about 5 minutes, making sure to keep on eye on them.  You want them to be brown but not burned. Burned by a fire and burned in the oven don't taste the same.</span><br />

Oh my, my, my how I love King Ranch Casserole.<br />

Some urban mexican restaurants call it flat enchiladas or you can make it easy and say mexican lasagna. Either way you choose yum.<br />

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.<br />

First thing you need to do is shred 4 cups of cooked chicken. I used a Rotisserie one just because I was in a hurry.<br />

I sprinkle the chicken with 2 teaspoons of chili powder, 1 tsp. of Old Bay seasoning, 1 tsp. of garlic salt, and then 1/4 tsp. of raw garlic.<br />

Now chop up 1 white onion (or whatever you have on hand) and 1/4 c. of green pepper (or whichever color you have on hand.<br />

Put 1/2 stick of butter in a fry pan and melt while stirring the veggies. Once the butter is melted add in 2 Tablespoons of flour and stir thoroughly.<br />

Open 1 can of Rotel and drain juice. Set aside the juice and stir in the Rotel to the veggie mixture.<br />

Take out of the oven and don't touch it for 10 minutes.<br />

We're knee deep in work and it's 57 degrees outside. A nice somewhat warm and sunny day and the farm is buzzing with all types of noises.<br />

Mr.Wade hauled that big tractor wheel home from a paper route year's ago. I'm going to spray paint it and use it in the garden. The old farm equipment will line the fence in the garden to add ambiance.<br />

Oh how cool would it be to use the little tire for a tire swing.<br />
<br />
Everywhere I look there is so much too do. Amazingly enough I'm actually looking forward to it. I know all this hard gruuunt work will all be WORTH it!!!<br />
<br />
This place is full of history and I get to be a part of it. Life moves so fast, I just wanna enjoy putting it all together again and making some new.<br />

Not having any electricity, water, or shelter out there yet our food options are limited. We can only eat at the diner soooo often before your bored with it. <span style="font-size: large;">Wow, it worked like a charm now! I love to open the cabinet doors, especially since I wake up to them open every morning. Mr.Wade has a bad habit of getting up in the middle of the night snacking and leaving cabinet door open, day or night. Silly man! I love him so I put up with it.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">We had a great day working in the country cutting down dead trees, and prepping for our food garden.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">I'm so excited! A flower garden, food garden, cutting gardens, a doggie memorial garden oh I'm in heaven!</span><br />
