Fun and Affordable St. Patrick's Decorations for Around the House

I can't believe Spring is just around the corner and it's already time for St. Patrick's Day again.

I've been spending a lot of time up at my dad and stepmom's house lately since they both have had some major health issues.

Since I haven't been home to do much around our farm I decided to bring some much needed cheer to their house and decorate it for $8.00.

Anyone can add some Green to their almost Spring for that price.

The entry hall table got some green garland to add cheer when you walk through the door.

I tucked in some glittery shamrocks in the mirror frame.

A little tape and some more shamrocks on their front window entertain both them and visitors who come by.

A few more shamrocks on the back door in the kitchen added some color to the kitchen.

We even sat down to make a shamrock garland, similar to our Christmas garland that you can find here.

Some twine and 3 different sized shamrocks made an adorable door decoration for less than $1.00.

I used a bread tie to attach this shamrock out front.

We spread St.Patrick's Day cheer all over the house inside and out for around $8.00 with stuff from the dollar store.

It gave us a fun craft project to work on in the rain and it really cheered everyone up.

Shamrock, glitter and green ....just what the doctor ordered.

What do you have planned for St. Patrick's Day?

I'd love to hear about it.

  9. Super cute. I pretty much only decorate for Christmas for the simple fact I don't have company that often other than my bf. I am a little disappointed that hardly any of my coworkers are wearing green today.
