Easiest Valentine Cookies Ever

It's almost here baby....Valentine's Day.

My third most favorite holiday ever.

Wanna know how to make the easiest cookie ever....I'm going to show you.

Here's What You'll Need.. please excuse my mess but I simply haven't gotten myself organized quite yet.

3 C. White Flour
1 t. Vanilla Extract
2 t.  Baking Powder
1 C.Granulated Sugar
1 Egg
2 Sticks of Butter (unsalted or salted is fine) use margarine if need be equal to 1 C.
Red Food Coloring

Preheat oven to 400 degrees and spray two cookie sheets with oil.

Now cream together your sugar, vanilla, egg, and butter.

Once that's done add about 8 drops of red food coloring, I like mine to be pink.

Now grab small chunks of the dough, roll it in your hands to make a ball, and then dip it into about a quarter of a cup of sugar you have set aside.

Set them one by one on your baking sheet. You should be able to get one dozen on each sheet the first time in the oven.

Now taking a glass, glass smush down the cookies, until they look like this.

Stick them in the oven for 7-8 minutes until they look ready.

While those are cooking you have a choice to make. You can either make one more dozen larger cookies or like me I make two dozen smaller balls, less calories that way, or so I think... lol.

When they come out of the oven, put them on your favorite red or Valentine's colored dish.

Bake your next batch and enjoy.
